- Check in online and pick seats as early as possible so the family can sit together.
- Flying with a baby? Request a bassinet seat when you book — airlines have limited bassinets and weight or age limits.
- One-stop flights via the Middle East are often cheaper than direct; a transit of two to four hours is long enough to stretch without dragging on.
- Jewel Changi sits on the public side of the airport, so anyone can visit before check-in — arrive early and enjoy the Rain Vortex.
- Most Swiss trains don't need seat reservations, but the famous panoramic trains like the Glacier Express and Bernina Express do.

How long is the flight from Singapore to Paris?
About 13 to 14 hours direct. One-stop flights via Dubai take longer overall, depending on the transit — our Emirates video shows the whole journey.
Is Jewel Changi free to visit?
Yes. Jewel is free to enter and the Rain Vortex is free to see, even if you're not flying. Some attractions inside, such as Canopy Park, charge admission.
Do you need to reserve seats on Swiss trains?
Usually not — a valid ticket or Swiss Travel Pass is enough on most trains. Scenic panoramic trains such as the Glacier Express and Bernina Express require a seat reservation.
